ABOUT US
This church, completed in 1895, is the oldest building today on Main Street in Belton, Missouri.
The elegant stained glass windows are the crowning glory of this historic church.
The designing architect originally ordered the windows from England for another church in Kansas City.
After the windows traveled across the Atlantic packed in barrels of molasses,
it was discovered that they did not fit their intended space.
The Belton church was given the opportunity to purchase the windows at a greatly reduced price.
That same architect then designed and built this brick church around the windows.
The vaulted ceiling, unique at that time, and an intricately designed chandelier,
were constructed to complement the windows.
Worship continues in this beautiful historic church at 10:00 a.m. each Sunday morning.
